I love Digital Infrared Photography

I love photography. And now I have a special interest in digital infrared photography. Infrared colors, tones and its uniqueness, are wonderful. That's why, I tried to modify my Nikon D70 myself, and fortunately, successfully. Wow ! My Nikon D70s & Nikon D200 are now fully dedicated infrared cameras.

Nowadays I modify Nikon cameras: D50, D70, D70s, even D200, to a dedicated infrared cameras. I did it for my friends and people. Surprisingly, there are many new digital infrared lovers coming.

Nikon D200 IR and lensa Sigma 18-50mm

Nikon D200 IR and Sigma 18-50mm f/3,5-5,6 is a good combination. Both create sharp pictures. And I just bought it at Bursa Kamera Jakarta, Bp. Abeng Taswin.

This information I got from Mas Yudistira during a photo hunting in Depok last month. I tried it and agreed with it. This newest lens of mine already tested during my holiday in Bali last December.

For infrared purposes, this lens is a "best buy" lens. I recommend it.

MyINFRARED.com Photo Contest 2007

I decided to manage a digital infrared photo contest, as I dream it about since last year. In 4th Januari 2007 I published "MyINFRARED.com Photo Contest 2007" in several online photo communities and groups.

Happy New Year 2007

Happy New Year 2007 ...

I spent 4 days of my end year holiday in Bali, with my family. Every morning I took a photo shoot with my infrared good friend, Yudistira. One day, in Bedugul photo shoot, we fortunately met Mr. Sigit Pramono, President Director of Bank BNI46, who known as a landscape photographer. We captured the natural beauty of Pura Ulun Danu together.

Hopefully the coming year will be filled with a new, bright and inspiring hope and success.
